SEATTLE FALL BALL
Fall Ball is an ECSA Open Division slow-pitch softball league for men and women of all skill levels. Teams are typically a random draw of available players with a few exceptions to allow people to play with friends. All players are placed on a team regardless of skill level. Higher rated players from the Spring league (A/B divisions) are spread evenly amongst the teams to promote mentoring, as are those players that have a special ability like pitching. This is purely a fun and social league; therefore there are no trophies or World Series Berths. However, some 'fun' awards are given at the end of the season including awards given to the best costumes on Costume Day.
Fallball is traditionally a pick-up league where short-handed teams can borrow from other teams if needed. However, it is recommended that if you can't play the majority of games, then please don't sign-up out of fairness to your teammates.
There will be informal post-game socials at area businesses after the games. There will also be an end-of-season party on the last day of scheduled games where food, beer, and beverages are provided. There will also be a pre-season social the Friday before the first scheduled games.
If you have any questions or want to be placed on the email list, please contact the Fall Ball Coordinator.
